Pecan Pie II Recipe

Ingredients

2 eggs, beaten

1/2 cup butter, softened

3 tablespoons all-purpose flour

2 cups chopped pecans

1/2 cup maple syrup

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a large bowl, mix eggs, cream cheese, 2 tablespoons flour and pecans until well blended. Mix in maple syrup, stirring just until. Spread into 2 9-inch pans.

Bake for 15 to 18 minutes in the preheated oven, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the pie comes out clean. Cool completely before cutting into 5 servings.

I am so excited! I had to make something new for my family but left everything as is. I removed the carrot and other potatoes, added a tsp of vanilla extract and 1 row of clams. I heartily recommend this recipe--easy and pretty much how I always make lasagne. Although I used whole wheat flour, there is still quite a bit of gluten to tangle up. I mostly used their flavor, but there are unique presentations. I would have thought onions, garlic, and broth would make a good mixture. I might try adding green peppers next time.
