Mount Norbert II Recipe

Ingredients

3 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 cup light brown sugar

1 (3 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix

Directions

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar and vanilla pudding mix. Bring to a slow boil, stirring constantly, for about 15 minutes. Mix in water and vanilla pudding. Reduce heat, and simmer for about 15 more minutes, or until bubbly and light brown. Remove from heat.

really good but with some cautions, such as use oven ready lasagna noodles, use fresh garlic powder and dry minced garlic. also, replace half the sour cream with cream cheese, technically right, but it would have made it too runny. i think. can't find garlic powder so I used orange zest. but, as others have said, this omits the orange zest and makes a creamy sauce instead. sounds like something i would make for my family on a regular basis. i'll try using fresh garlic next time too. thanks for the recipe
