Peanut Butter Pie IV Recipe

Ingredients

2 cups peanut butter

1 cup butter flavored shortening

1 cup packed brown sugar

1 1/4 cups vegetable oil

2 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

1 (4 ounce) can evaporated milk

1 egg

1 cup sliced fresh strawberries

1/2 cup sliced almonds

1/2 cup chopped walnuts

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup chopped pecans

1 cup chopped pecans

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Layer peanut butter mixture on bottom of 9 inch pastry-lined pie pan.

Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes. Increase oven temperature to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and bake an additional 20 minutes, or until puffed and golden. Cool completely.

Line bottom of pie pan with 3 or 4 large slabs. Pour peanut butter mixture over slabs. Top with cream cheese, cream cheese, evaporated milk, egg and sliced strawberries. Top with almonds, walnuts and pecans. Place crust on baking sheet.

Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour. Cool completely before serving.
