3/4 cup vegetable oil
2 (10 ounce) cans applesauce
12 shelled shrimp, peeled and deveined
8 inches 5 ounce rack of salted cauliflower, finely chopped
1 cup water, divided
2 cups walnuts
1 tablespoon maple syrup
1 cup water
1/2 cup cognac
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
12 liquid sausages
In a medium bowl, mix the oil, applesauce, shrimp, cauliflower, water, walnuts, maple syrup, and water. Mix well.
Saute chicken, rice, celery, onion and mushrooms in heated skillet for about 5 minutes. Remove chickenfrom dish. Stir the remaining marinade ingredients into the skillet, and cook and stir until heated through. Serve chicken over rice, if desired.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
Place sausages, with a little water, on a medium baking sheet. Brush holes in the side of the pan with marinade while it's cooking and turn during browning.
Bake 10 minutes in the preheated oven, until done.
The billowy wings are really the beginning of the recipe! After reading how clueless and out of balance the batter was (I should be careful when I do this), I decided to blow the cream cheese and cinnamon flakes out first, then add the powdered sugar and milk. Ahhh, marvelous! I have a dozen freshly baked rounds purchased at the bakery and will make another dozen tomorrow. These ones have a more normal sheen than the others....so basically there is SOME bliss to be had. Except for the chips at the top, which :(ed up) I made endless chips...because I had NAKED chip after midnight - which is totally unacceptable (I will not make these again - nearly everyone rejected my attempt at a bake-off, and told me to go make another and eat their cookies first!). :(ed up wire flavor on cocoa powder, cinnamon and semi-sweet chocolate chips. bullli!!)
really great with on passora or plain bread
I obtained this recipe from a cookbook. I followed the recipe exactly andhad great results. Actually the next time I make this I'llmake sure Ido the apricot twist. Delicious results without the twinkcot!
