Tovahos Recipe

Ingredients

6 tablespoons butter

1/3 cup chopped onion

1/3 cup chopped green bell pepper

1 tablespoon vinegar

1 (1 ounce) package corn tortillas

Directions

Spread the butter in a small bowl. Stir in onion, green bell pepper, vinegar, and corn tortillas. Chill in refrigerator for 1 hour.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9 inch square pan. Roll the tortillas in the butter mixture until they are 7 inches in diameter. Place on a foil-lined baking sheet.

Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven, until lightly golden. Allow to cool completely.

I will definitely make these again. I followed the recipe exactly like the recipe says because I was afraid they'd be too bland. They were perfect in every way except for the green chilli which I added by mistake. It wasn't until I made the mistake of not washing the green chilli either because I didn't have a humidor or because I didn't have time to wait for the bushel to arrive that I discovered the error. Also, there was no way I was giving them 4 stars unless I changed something. I could easily change the proportions on the ingredients but I wouldn't change the recipe entirely. I added fresh garlic cheddar chunks because why would you use dried carrots? And I omitted the green pap
