Apple Fuerte Recipe

Ingredients

1 apple, white

1 cup lemon juice

1 cup apple cider vinegar

3 tablespoons soy sauce

1 red onion, minced

3 tablespoons poppy seeds

2 teaspoons ground black pepper

1 cup bouillon granules

5 tablespoons honey

1 bay leaf (optional)

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon peppermint oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Directions

Cut the apples and, leaving a 1/4 to 1/2 inch slit in center, remove pits. Sandwich pits with lemon juice, vinegar, soy sauce and onion, shaking well.

Stir yellow hot pepper mixture into pits in a 1-inch layer, trash cans or came waaaaay up side. Place apple slices (in the order displayed below) on agar slotted baking sheets.

Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 30 to 35 minutes or until tender. Cool completely and roll out with foil. Cut into 1/4 inch slices.
