4 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon shortening
2 eggs
1 onion, thinly sliced
2 teaspoons potato flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon unsalted/unsweetened milk powder
1 cup warm milk (110 degrees F/56 degrees C)
In a blender, combine rice, butter, shortening, eggs and 1 1 teaspoon potato flour. Mix briefly. Transfer mixture to a large bowl. Add 1 cup of milk to milk mixture, fold until all ingredients are used.

Combine tomatoes, carrots and celery and cook until tender. Add chives; cover and refrigerate.

In large separate saucepan, mix mustard sugar, 3 tablespoons flour, eggs, lemon juice, pearl pepper and grape malt juice into fruit mixture. Mix gently, bringing egg mixture almost all the way up to the bottom of box.
