2 (4 ounce) packages cream cheese
2 containers frozen orange juice
1 bottle lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage
1 quart lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage
Beat cream cheese, orange juice and lemon-lime soda in small bowl until smooth. Fold in lemon-lime soda.
Arrange fruit, bread and vegetables on two separate baking sheets. Trim edges to fit fruit.
Allow fruit and vegetables to cool slightly over cooking surface; chill until desired time. Cover and refrigerate for several hours.
Slowly drizzle sugar over cream cheese mixture, adding about 1/ 2 cup lemon-lime soda for every two fruit slices. Fill crust with fruit slices and candies. Cover seam with waxed cotton string, about 1-1/2 inches deep.
Place fruit on cream cheese mixture. Serve with lemon-lime soda or lemon slices if desired. Garnish with orange or lemon slices and half of maraschino cherry.
