3/4 cup butter, softened
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
3 cups all-purpose flour
3 cups milk
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, cream together the 3/4 cup butter, sugar, eggs, flour, milk and vanilla until smooth. Roll dough into 1 inch balls, about the size of 2 dozen chocolate cookies. Place on ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake for 8-10 minutes in the preheated oven. Remove from cookie sheets to cool on a wire rack. When cool, cut tops off cookie halves to see if cookie dough has been stuck.
