Eggs Benedict Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup water

1 cup white sugar

1 egg

2 pints beef broth, divided

2 eggs, lightly beaten

3 tablespoons margarine

1 tablespoon lemon juice

2 tablespoons lemon zest

2 tablespoons lemon juice

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon orange juice

Directions

In a shallow dish in the center of a large glass of ice, mix 1 cup water, 1 cup sugar, egg, and 2 pints beef broth. Fill glass with lukewarm lemon juice and lemon zest. Stir in lemon juice, lemon zest and lemon juice, and beat with electric mixer on low-speed, scraping bowl often, until combined. Stir in margarine, lemon juice and lemon zest. Pour into glass with ice.

Reduce speed to medium, and scrape bowl constantly. Gradually stir in margarine, lemon juice and lemon zest. Stir in flour, mixing just until incorporated, until mixture is smooth. Pour into glass with ice. Serve immediately. Garnish with orange marmalade and sprinkles!
