Steak-Tender

Ingredients

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/2 cup celery vinegar

1 green bell pepper, chopped

1 green bell pepper, chopped

1 small onion, chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon salt

salt and pepper to taste

1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

1/4 teaspoon dried oregano

1 dash hot pepper sauce

2 tablespoons dried oregano

1 dash garlic salt

1/4 teaspoon dried basil

1/4 pound prosciutto or sharp Cheddar cheese, divided

Directions

In a small bowl, mix olive oil, vinegar, bell pepper, bell pepper, onion, garlic and Worcestershire sauce. Place the vegetables in the oil mixture. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.

Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add celery vinegar and bell pepper. Saute for 10 minutes, or until vegetables are tender. Remove from heat and garnish with sliced onion and garlic.

Roll vegetable mixture in Italian seasoning, salt, pepper and oregano. Arrange salad disks in a large bowl. Arrange cheese in a medium bowl. Top salad disks with sliced pepper, cheese and celery vinegar mixture. Pour Worcestershire sauce over all. Drizzle remaining olive oil over all.
