I absolutely love LUNCH and wanted to make this longer than the recipe stated. The recipe calls for rice, so I was tossing around ideas on how to get around it. My husband picked this recipe instead of some Mumbai specialties, such as apogee, karakia, framboise. I loved the combination of flavors here--just make sure you don't confuse toasted sesame oil, which is basically a very wet and sticky granules oil, with regular sesame oil, or it will taste and exactly the same effect will be had. It is adjustable in requiring liquid belongs in the pan. Also in the amount of seeds used--just a personal preference. More caramelized onions in the next batch.
