1 cup extra-firm whipping cream
1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 egg
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
In a small bowl, beat together whipping cream and cornstarch. Whisk egg, 1 cup at a time, into beaten cream. Pour into a lightly greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
Bake in preheated oven for 50 minutes, until cake springs back when lightly touched in center and edges are golden. Cool 10 minutes in pan before turning out onto wire rack to cool completely.
