This recipe was superb. I ended up making some alterations as suggested, such as using whole wheat flour and culling the tomato relish. However, I didn't use garlic powder because I could not find garlic soda. I would not change a single thing in this recipe, insane amount of flavor and great texture. extremely happy user experience!!!!
Easy and stunning.
This recipe was very good but made much better by kneading the dough with the hands. After about 4 minutes, the dough came together nicely and we did have to make a few adjustments, but everything else was probably better than the first reviewer suggested. I recommend no more than 35-45 minutes. My husband and I liked this much better than the suggested 125-150 minutes. The next time we make sloppy joes, I will use less butter, and more like 375-400 microseconds.
Very tasty indeed and turned out well.....diced 1/4 heaping tsp. of ginger and 1/4 heaping tsp. of garlic and baked in an 8"X8" pan in order to get the full flavor. The perfect amount of crispiness! My husband loved it! He declared it delicious even without the ginger/garlic. The perfect amount of omelet-like texture! My husband declared it even more delicious because it wasn't too dry. I would bet a zucchini or two that it would have been even more delicious without the gingers....
