2 tablespoons butter, divided
1 1/2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons onion powder
1 tablespoon cider vinegar
1 1/3 cups white wine, chilled
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 egg, lightly beaten
3 pounds steak, cut 4 inches deep
Melt 1/2 tablespoons butter in a large saucepan and slowly pour into a 4 quart steamer, mug or stockpot.
Bring to a boil, then remove from heat and stir in flour, 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, cider vinegar, white wine, garlic cloves, oil.
Pour into steamer or stockpot; reduce heat to medium-low.
Remove steak from steamer, cut into 4 thin strips and spread evenly over meat mixture. Ladle 1/2 teaspoon oil over all, whisking occasionally.
Bake at 375 degrees for approximately 2 hours, turning steaks every 35 minutes.
