1 pound ground beef
1 pound ground pork
1 egg white
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon meat tenderizer
1 onion, chopped
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper to taste
1 (10 ounce) can crushed tomato puree
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a large bowl, mix ground beef, pork and egg white. Sprinkle flour over all. Stir in milk and tomato tenderizer; mix well.
Stir onion and thyme into ground beef mixture; mix well. Mix together nutmeg and Worcestershire sauce; pour mixture over batter.
Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour, or until meat thermometer registers 165 degrees F (80 degrees C).
