1/4 cup butter, softened
1/8 cup white sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
2/3 cup evaporated milk
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup cinnamon sticks
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.
Stir butter and brown sugar into the creamed corn syrup until well blended. Beat in eggs until well blended. Combine evaporated milk and brown sugar; pour into creamed corn syrup. Beat in flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon sticks and salt. Mix just enough to moisten. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before removing to cool completely. Remove from baking sheets to cool completely. Refrigerate leftover cookies.
