1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 1/2 cups powdered white sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 cup sour cream
1 egg
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Trim the loaf of bread to try to prevent browning. Remove the body from the bread. Brush large circles upon the loaf using a pastry knife or tub filter.
In a small bowl, cream butter or margarine and sugar. Mix together lemon juice and sour cream, add eggs. Spray a 9x13 inch dish with nonfat cooking spray; pipe sour cream mixture into loaf of bread.
Bake loaf for 45 minutes in the preheated oven, or until bubbly and golden brown. Lower the loaf onto platter and sprinkle with sour cream mixture before removing from oven.
