2 eggs
1/2 cup white sugar
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/2 cups milk
1 1/2 tablespoons vanilla extract
1 cup chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease or line a 10 inch springform pan.
In the top of a double boiler, heat sugar and eggs until just boiling. Stir in 1/4 cup flour and baking powder; heat to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
In a large bowl, mix egg mixture, sugar, flour, and baking soda; toss. Stir together milk and vanilla extract, then stir into the egg mixture. Fold in pecans. Pour filling into prepared pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 50 to 60 minutes, or until bubbly and golden. Serve warm or cold.
