3 pounds Italian sausage, casing cut
1 onion, diced
3 green onions, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried salt
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
1 teaspoon dried sage
1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram, minced
2 tablespoons dried oregano
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon water
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a large bowl, mix sausage, onion, green onions, garlic, oregano, salt, basil, rosemary, sage, marjoram, olive oil and water. Transfer to a patty wrap. Roll up tightly and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
Remove thin, shall-eat slices from the meat and place in a shallow dish. Add the sliced onion and green bell pepper; toss.
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 15 to 20 minutes.
