1 (15 ounce) package strawberry cake mix
1 (16 ounce) can Red Delicious red fruit
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup margarine
2 teaspoons strawberries and white sugar
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1/2 cup chopped blueberries (optional)
1 (9 inch) prepared strawberry impasto
2 cups sliced strawberries
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease, flour and flour a 9x13 inch pan.
Beat cake mix, strawberries, fruit, eggs, vanilla extract, margarine, strawberries and sugar until smooth. Stir in the nuts and blueberries, then spread mixture evenly into crust. Seal edges of the cake, grease edges and cut slits in the top. Cut slit in top to allow steam to escape. Place cake seam side down onto the prepared pan.
Bake in the preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Cool cake in pan, then cut into squares.
