Overnight Cinnamon Rolls Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup butter

1 tablespoon white sugar

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 tablespoon ground cinnamon

1 egg

2 cups milk

1 tablespoon buttermilk

1 cup water

1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 cup chopped walnuts

1 tablespoon cornstarch

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease and flour two 9x5-inch loaf pans.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter, sugar and vanilla. Beat in the flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Beat mixture in egg, milk and buttermilk. Stir in water, vanilla and chopped walnuts.

Roll dough into a loop width 9 inches long, and place onto prepared pans.

Bake in preheated oven for 50 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into last 5 inches of the loaf comes out clean.

On a wooden platter, spoon the contents of the loaf into an 8x8-inch pan, and sprinkle with cornstarch. Allow to cool. Brush back jelly and flour onto loaf as needed. Serve warm.
