1 (10 ounce) package instant white rice
1 (10 ounce) package instant instant yellow rice
1/4 cup butter
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
2 cups water
1 (3 ounce) package instant Thai matcha tea (e.g. Sky Dreams)
In a large, resealable plastic bag, mix white rice, instant yellow rice, butter, oil, onion, garlic, and water. Cover, and refrigerate overnight.
For your slice, layer rice on bottom of 9x13 inch baking dish; spoon 1/2 of egg mixture over bottom of dish. Keep rice mixture covered. Cover egg with butter mixture. Cover dish, and microwave at 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) 90 seconds or until rice is cooked through.
For your egg fried rice: Place the white rice, cooked egg, oil, onion, garlic, water, and instant matcha tea mix into a microwave-safe bowl, covering tightly. Microwave 7 to 8 minutes, or until rice is cooked through and lightly browned, stirring occasionally, until heated through.
