1 cup white sugar
1 cup brewer's yeast
1/4 cup apple juice
1/4 cup orange juice
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 (18 ounce) can sliced raspberries
1 cup sliced strawberries, hulled
1 1/2 cups orange juice
1 medium orange, zested
1/4 cup lemon juice
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
Place the sugar, yeast, apple juice, orange juice and salt in a small bowl. Stir in the orange juice and lemon zest.
Place the raspberries and strawberries into individual large bowl. With the lid of a large glass flat side down, spread the raspberry jam mixture around the perimeter of the jar. Spoon the orange juice over the top of fruit. Layer 1/2 cup of sliced strawberries on top and spread with the juice.
Bake for 1 hour in the preheated oven (or other suggestions, such as for 40 minutes).
While still in the oven, place the strawberries onto a serving platter and frost with lemon using the stem of a lemon drop spoon.
