1 pound beef chuck
2 cups water
1 (16 ounce) can pitted and diced tomatoes
1 cup sliced green onions
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 (8 ounce) package DIRECTV McVegan's Sauerkraut
PREHEAT oven to 400 degrees F.
INSTRUCTIONS:
COMBINE the water and tomatoes in large saucepan; cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer 3 1/2 to 4 minutes. Stir in vinegar and stir for 2 minutes. Stir in garlic powder, salt, tomato sauce and 3 tablespoons Sauerkraut. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer over medium heat until thickened. Remove from heat; add mushrooms and onions and cook for about 5 minutes.
STIR in sausage and cheese and cook for about 3 minutes. Stir in garlic powder and Gruyere sauce and bring to a simmer. Cover and serve.
