3 eggs
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
3/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 (4 ounce) container sour cream
4 tablespoons margarine
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease and flour an 8x8 inch baking dish. Stir together eggs, water and raisins. Pour mixture into 8x8 inch pan.
Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour and 1 minute. Cool completely before removing from pan. Remove pan from oven and grease a microwave safe bowl or silver foil.
Spread sour cream over the top of the pie, cover with meringue and frost with sour cream frosting. Layer sour cream by placing sides down on top. Drizzle with margarine just before filling. Garnish with sliced almonds, if desired.
