1 cup butter
3/4 cup 3/4 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon dried cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon white sugar for decoration
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour two 8-inch pan pans.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, sugar and eggs. Beat in the vanilla, cinnamon, baking soda and white sugar. Mix in the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each. Pour batter into prepared pans.
Bake in the preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.
