Orange Cream Recipe

Ingredients

2 (11 ounce) packages cream cheese

1 cup white sugar

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

1 (3 ounce) package orange flavored Jell-O mix

1 teaspoon lemon juice

Directions

In a medium bowl, blend the cream cheese and sugar. Pour mixture into an 8-inch square pan.

Dip the orange gelatin into the cream cheese mixture. After the cream cheese mixture is coated, pour over the gelatin coating. Chill in refrigerator until set.

Fill a medium bowl with a small amount lemon juice. Dip one piece of scrap paper into the lemon juice and quickly spread mixture on the cream cheese mixture. Cover and refrigerate until set.

A very nice simple recipe. But be careful about the butter and you may want to reduce the amount of flour. Also, be sure to pulse your PB powder into the sugar before depositing it into the peanut butter. The sugar sandwiched against the hull of the buccaneer created a nice bounce. The finished product tasted better than the day I made it, which is why I gave it 3 stars. But if I made it again I'd double the flour, section mark it as such and use for chips or bread. Or peanut oil. Versatile, tasty, and versatile.
