15 ounces tomatoes, chopped
1 red onion, coarsely chopped
1 feathered egg, beaten
3/4 teaspoon paprika
1/3 cup water, divided
1/3 cup dry white wine
dried basil leaves (optional)
1/4 cup cold milk
salt and pepper to taste
In a small bowl, combine tomatoes, onion, egg and paprika. Add water to cover and cook to desired doneness.
Reduce heat and stir in wine, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes.
