1 tablespoon olive oil
1 cup sliced fresh garlic
1/4 cup white wine
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 teaspoons dried basil
1/3 cup red wine vinegar
1/2 cup honey
6 drops hot pepper sauce
1 tablespoon white sugar
In a frying pan saute olive oil, garlic and white wine until soft. Stir in chopped onion and basil; reduce heat to medium-low. Add vinegar, honey, prepared jalapeno, and pepper sauce. Bring to a simmer; reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for enough 1 hour to bring the appropriate color of water to the desired consistency.
