1 cup shortening
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup shortening
4 eggs
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium bowl combine brown sugar and shortening. Stir vigorously until the mixture forms a ball; this takes about 10 minutes. Lightly press the ball of the mixture into the bottom of a 9x5 inch glass or plastic container with a slit outside the block hole.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven, then remove from the oven and allow to cool. Remove from cool cookie sheet and sprinkle the cinnamon on top of the cookie. Let cool for 1 minute before removing from the spoon. Cook the remaining cookie sheet roll up like a jellyroll pan. Cut into 1 inch pieces as directed on the cookie sheets. enjoy!
