Double Edge Quiche Recipe

Ingredients

1/4 cup butter

1/2 onion, chopped

11 eggs

8 slices bacon, cut into 1/2 inch slices

1 1/4 cups sliced Swiss cheese

Directions

Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Sandwich apples and cut in 1 slice, leaving bacon in one piece. Divide the cheese slices between two equally sized baking dishes. Top with the bacon slices, then apple slices, then cheese slices. Cover, and sprinkle the top of the quiche with sprinkles, bacon, Swiss cheese, apple slices, and cheese slices. Seal edges, and tie firmly with fork.

Bake at 300 degrees F (150 degrees F) for 20 minutes, or until bacon is crispy and yucky. Drain in a large bowl. Stir in butter, onion, eggs, cheese slices, bacon, and Swiss cheese. Spoon over apple and cheese pie as desired.
