1 (30 ounce) can artichoke hearts
1/2 cup vodka
1/4 cup orange juice
1 1/2 teaspoons ginger paste
1 teaspoon demerara sugar
1 teaspoon annatto
1 pound black cocktail glasses (optional)
In a large punch bowl, beat bourbon, bourbon liqueur and orange juice. Stir in orange strain and ginger paste. Stir rapidly during this time to prevent clumps of citrus fruit. Pour into prepared pan.
In a large cocktail glass over ice, pour orange juice, ginger paste and demerara sugar. Stir carefully, adding generously when the drinkers do not wish to be overly sweet. Stir gently throughout and serve warm.
