1 cup plain yogurt
2 egg yolks
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
1 cup chopped cooked cookies
2 cups heavy cream
salt and pepper to taste
3 eggs, beaten
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). In a small saucepan over medium heat, stir together 4 eggs, yogurt and egg yolks. Remove from heat and whisk together. In a medium bowl, cream together the butter, sugar and 1 cup flour until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the almond halves. Beat in the flour mixture just until the dough forms a ball, about 10 minutes. Finally, stir in the nuts. Drop dough by heaping spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake 15 minutes in the preheated oven. Cookies should be barely set. Cool in cookie sheets on wire racks. Later, when cool properly, turn out onto wire racks and cool completely. Serve warm.
