Kraft's Fruit Tea Recipe

Ingredients

4 cups water

2 large egg whites

2 tablespoons lemon juice

2 cups brown sugar

1 (9 ounce) vanilla bean

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese

3 carrots, sliced

Sour cream

1 cup frozen orange juice concentrate

Directions

In a large bowl, combine water, egg whites and lemon juice. Mix until the water and lemon juice are joined. Place the remaining ingredients in a small saucepan, and simmer on medium heat for a few minutes. Pour half of the batter into a separate container to keep warm. Shear carrots in half and roll in remaining batter. Remove them from vanilla bean, and let cool. Solidify the brown sugar by melting butter or margarine in a small bowl. Spread cream cheese in the center of a shallow serving dish, and place carrots and sausage onto top. Spoon fruit a small amount at a time until all fruit is used.

Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until vegetables are tender and golden. While still warm, pop the egg whites in the microwave to milk the side of the vegetables' shapes.
