Easy Chocolate Recipe

Ingredients

3 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/8 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 cup white sugar

1 cup milk

2 egg whites

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup chocolate syrup

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, soda, sugar and milk. beat until well blended. Fold in egg whites. Pour batter into prepared pan or pans.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool completely before removing pan. Chill in refrigerator.

For the frosting: Beat whipping cream with electric mixer until stiff peaks form. Add sugar and vanilla extract. Beat for 3 minutes. Mix chocolate syrup and orange sherbet in a small bowl until smooth. Frost cake.
