Slashed Chicken with Crabmeat Recipe

Ingredients

3 tablespoons seasoned salt

2 tablespoons black pepper

1 tablespoon dried oregano

1 tablespoon dried basil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

2 teaspoons olive oil

2 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves

1 medium onion, grated

1 medium carrot, diced

2 tablespoons crabmeat

1 tablespoon butter

Directions

In a, large pot over medium heat, combine the salt, pepper, oregano, basil, garlic powder, olive oil, chicken, onion, carrot, crabmeat, butter and oregano. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to medium and simmer 35 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Remove chicken and set aside. Place chicken in a colander and drain; rinse and grate. Place chicken in a large pot and add enough water to cover. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer 15 minutes.

Reduce heat to medium and stir in crabmeat and butter. Reduce heat to low and stir in the cooked chicken. Simmer 10 minutes. Reduce heat to low and simmer 2 hour, using a small spoon to keep thermometer in the pot.
