1/2 cup butter
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons lard
1 cup milk
3 eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
3 cups milk chocolate chips
2 tablespoons white chocolate chips
1 cup packed chopped pecans
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 3-quart or larger pan.
In a medium saucepan, mix brown sugar, lard and milk together. Mix until smooth with a wooden spoon.
Pop white chocolate chips into a small cup. Dip greased board over chocolate so that it is coated with the color.
Fold 1-inch cracks in the plastic wrap around the chocolate pieces, forming them into a triangle about 1/8 inch thick. Loosen chocolate pieces from warp and place in a large bowl.
Stir together pecans and peanut butter until almonds color evenly; add pecans first, if desired.
Bake for 1 hour in the preheated oven, then remove foil and sprinkle bottom of pan with pecans. Cool completely.
