1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup nondairy creamer (optional)
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup canned, dry oats
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
In a large bowl, combine white sugar, nondairy creamer, butter, salt and ground flour. Add oats, flour mix. Stir again until just combined. Stir in 1/3 cup rolled oats, and knead dough until smooth and elastic, 8 minutes. In a small bowl, stir cooked oats together with chopped nuts and walnuts. Roll dough into 1 inch balls and store in an airtight tin for a week or longer.
Fry cookies next to an ungreased cookie sheet until golden and/or brown on the bit. Remove from tin and cool cookies from tin. Chill before serving.
