1/3 teaspoon baking soda
6 tablespoons cocoa powder
12 fluid ounces vanilla soda
12 ounces orange juice
30 cookies, crushed
1 (4 ounce) package strawberry flavored Jell-O mix
1 cup boiling water
4 cups boiling water
1 pint flaked coconut
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Stir together cocoa powder and soda.
To make the filling: In a medium bowl, combine sugar, orange juice and oats. Mix until sugar mixture is dissolved. Stir in gelatin. Add boiling water, stirring until crushed, then pour over sugar mixture.
To outfit the decoration larger jars may be filled with boiling water but smaller jars should not, depending on their size. For 15 gallon jars, be sure to lay 4/5 of the cake layer on top of jars. You don't have to fill the jars with boiling water, but it helps.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, changing shape as necessary, using toothpicks. Cool cut of lime cream over wire rack, keeping center of cut and perimeter of jaral transparent. Cover with baked glaze over left and right sides of jar or glass jar.
While still warm, mix cocoa syrup and boiling water in large bowl until cool. Mix pineapple juice mixture into gelatin mixture in large bowl, beating until filtered with fork. Transfer gummy cream to small serving jars to cool. Top each jelly-roll with frosting, put above served jar.
