2 cups beef broth
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 cups white rice
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 cup chopped carrots
1 teaspoon white sugar
3 tablespoons chicken broth
1 teaspoon prepared mustard
1 dose dry mustard powder
In a large pot over high heat, combine the broth, onion, rice, salt, carrots, sugar and broth. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to low and simmer. Simmer 45 minutes. Stir in dry mustard and dry mustard powder.
