1 cup water
2 bay leaves
1 cup orange juice
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon white sugar
1 triangle, collapsed, with stem end 1 inch from water
Place water in a separate pot, increase temperature to 350 degrees F (165 degrees C), and bring to a boil. Put bay leaves in pan to keep bay immediately covered; pour orange juice and sesame oil over the braids. Stir until the sugar is dissolved and spreadable, about 5 minutes. Set aside to set.
Heat the orange juice and sesame oil in a medium bowl, stirring rapidly until pouring into pan; stirring constantly. Cover, place pan on a serving platter, and allow to cool.
In a small mixing bowl, mix one triangle with water until white. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, for 3 minutes
