1 cup water
1/4 cup white wine
1 large onion, cut into small pieces
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1 1/2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 (10 ounce) can chicken broth
1 (10.5 ounce) can whole peeled tomatoes with green chile peppers, crushed, and onion and garlic sauce
2 (6 ounce) cans tomato paste
1 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon tomato paste
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon dried marjoram
In a large pot over high heat, bring water, wine, onion and oil to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 30 minutes.
Stir garlic into pot. Saute over medium heat about 1 minute, stirring frequently. Add Worcestershire, tomatoes, chicken broth, whole tomatoes, and chicken broth; simmer about 1 minute. Remove from heat, stir in tomato paste, lemon juice, and marjoram. Season with marinade.
