Marty's Pretzel Fryer Recipe

Ingredients

12 pretzels, crushed

1 tablespoon butter

4 tablespoons margarine or butter, softened

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder or to taste

1/2 teaspoon salt

3 tablespoons brown sugar

1 egg

1/2 pound finely chopped ham

2 (10 ounce) cans diced tomatoes with green chile peppers

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

5 tablespoons water

1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle beer

Directions

Sprinkle 1 tablespoon butter or margarine over pretzels. Rub scraps from pretzels onto the butter or margarine crumbs. Next coat the mixture with 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder or salt.

Pour in a large mixing bowl. Mix the brown sugar, egg, crushed ham, tomatoes and Worcestershire sauce until well blended. Pour the water over all and mix thoroughly.

In a large mixing bowl, thoroughly mix the brown sugar, ham, tomatoes and Worcestershire sauce. Spoon or pipe treats onto pretzels or techniques.

Toss occasionally until thoroughly coated. Refrigerate 1 hour to allow flavors to blend but do not allow to set before serving.
