1 (1 ounce) package boiled egg whites
1/4 cup milk
1 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
1 teaspoon prepared horseradish
salt to taste
ground black pepper to taste
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Melt egg whites in large microwave safe bowl. Mix milk, sugar, hot pepper sauce and horseradish. Fold as needed, until well blended. Pour mixture into pita, top with chocolate chips.
Bake in preheated oven 15 to 20 minutes, or until cooked through. Cool completely. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate about 2 hours before serving.
Consistency is the key with this recipe, and this is one of those occasions where you really can't go wrong here. The dressing (I use Garlic Pride, Garlic Pride & Sugar-Free Dr. Pepper) really put this together, and the restaurant was very accommodating with the substitutions I made. As another reviewer put it, "This is a keeper".
