12 quarts water
1 cup whole wheat flour
2 eggs
1 cup brown sugar
1/12 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 cup white sugar
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 cup 10-inch-inch skillet
In a large bowl, temper 8 room-temperature white sugar with 2 cups water, stirring until very smooth. Add flour, and whisk until well blended. Add eggs and salt and pepper to the sugar mixture, continuing to stir with a wooden spoon until dough forms. Place mixture into skillet, and cook over low heat until light golden brown.
