12 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup white sugar
1 1/2 tablespoons milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup applesauce
1/2 cup applesauce
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar for garnish
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Line baking sheets with foil.
Combine cream cheese, sugar, milk, and vanilla in small bowl. Beat until creamy. Set aside, and make apple sauce.
Line a glass or plastic bowl with a damp kitchen towel, and pour cream cheese mixture over towel. Place over medium-low heat, and stir until cream cheese mixture is slightly thickened. Remove from heat, and stir in milk, sugar and vanilla extract.
Before serving, fold gelatin mixture into the cream cheese mixture, and garnish with applesauce and applesauce.
