1 (1 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (2 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
4 teaspoons dried marjoram, crushed
1 cup margarine
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 pound mascarpone cheese
In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, whipped topping, marjoram, margarine, eggs and vanilla extract. Mix well and spread into a 9x13 inch pan. Chill in refrigerator.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Bake crust in preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until golden brown. Set aside.
In a small bowl, mix mascarpone cheese and egg wash. Beat mascarpone cheese mixture into remaining egg wash and egg wash mixture until smooth. Spread cream cheese mixture on top of pie.
Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes. Cool on plates. Chill before serving.
