3 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter
1/2 cup bulgur
1 cup white sugar
1 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit (230 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
Place flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in the microwave's large bowl; microwave on HIGH 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Place bulgur, sugar, eggs, sifted with spice mixture in the pan. Stir to coat. Sprinkle with vanilla.
Bake in preheated oven for 1 minute. Remove loaf from oven and use foil to keep warm. Cool completely on a wire rack.
