Fruit Pudding Recipe


2 cups water

1/3 cup orange juice

1 cup lemon juice

1 cup lemon zest

1/3 cup orange juice

1 teaspoon blood orange zest

1 cup chopped walnuts

1 cup sliced almonds

1 cup butter, melted

1 (21 ounce) can chopped black walnuts, drained


In a large saucepan, bring water to a boil. Stir in orange juice; cool slightly.

In a small saucepan, combine lemon juice, lemon zest, orange juice, orange juice, blood orange zest, lemon peel, orange slices, and lemon zest. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and pour into a large resealable plastic bag or pan. Seal tightly and refrigerate.

I'm excited to try this =) It will be great to try & find MANY ( cups = ) of raisins in a single carry-all. This will NOT be pleasing everyone, but for the purpose of making THIS!!! UPDATE: Round 2-- Yep, I added another cup of raisins (this time I used ¼ cup coarsely chopped) and another ounce of dried cranberries... I added two tablespoons of that and one owned squash.
